• Qué había na pantalla cando se quedou bloqueado? (mensaxe de erro?, pantalla en blanco?, unha parte da interface do xogo?)
Everything that should have been there, except the graphics for the tile. The "table" showed where the starting tile should have been and where my opponent's first tile was placed, and the square where my tile should have been was blank.• Cal é o teu navegador?

Reloading the page did not correct the stituation, even though the loading game graphics progress bar reached 100%. I'm a new player and tried to concede -- but it wouldn't let me because the game was half over. So I quit -- what else could I do? Please remove the penalty to my reputation that resulted, as well as fixing whatever glitch caused this.

I just played an entire game in which I could not see the graphics on the tiles. They were all completely blank. I had no idea what I was placing on the board, but I didn't want to ditch my opponents, so I just went with it. I've played the game several times over the past few months and have never had that happen. Reloading the page did not help.

I played today (2020 12 28 13:08) on table #134634877 and I had exactly the same problem. Tiles were empty and refresh didn't soluce the trouble...
But I was expulsed by an opponent because I ran out of time... Unbelievable and unfair...

I had the same thing happen just now. All I could see were outlines with the brown wood background. I couldn't see my tile or any of the tiles on the board.
My solution was to have my opponent kick me out, but please give me back any reputation that you took away.
By the way, it also sort of happened tonight with Kingdomino. I couldn't see the castle in the middle of my array or my opponents' arrays. But I could see the tiles, so I could play the game.

at game start, tiles were empty - couldn't see what they are... reloading reopening in another tab didn't solve the problem... happened twice in a row, and in one I got a penalty and lost points because the other player kicked me out

On two Carcassonne games tonight, the loading got to 91% and stopped, yet there was an order in the tab at the top of my screen that said it was my turn. I tried F5 several times. It didn't help. I was expelled for taking too long, but the game never got past 91%. I never saw the actual game screen.
Later tonight on Welcome To . . . a similar thing happened. When the page finally loaded, I couldn't see the layout - only the background brown wood screen. I was able to write a note to my opponent so we abandoned the game without penalties.
But I want you to remove the penalty I was assessed for Carcassonne because it wasn't my fault that I couldn't play.

--> Firefox .. and Google.. sometimes it wont load at all on Google (for me anyway) I changed to Firefox a few weeks ago. It was fine at first but seems to doing the same now.

La même chose m'est arrivée aujourd'hui à deux reprises. La touche F5 n'a pas aidé, ni rafraichir la page, ni sortir du jeu pour y revenir... Frustrant !

Non mi ha caricato la pagina sin dall'inizio ho provato due volte, alla seconda mi ha fatto entrare, ma in una partita mi ha dato abbandono ed in un'altra penalità tempo, connessione ottima

I played with the Google Chrome v98 with Android 11 in Galaxy S10+ phone, everything in Carcassonne loaded except the graphics for the tile. The picture where previous tiles have been placed are all black out, with only meeples standing there. The latest tile I placed become blank instead. It does not just happened to my table, it happens to the replay of games played by others as well.
I checked that this happens in my phone but not my laptop. My laptop running Chrome v98 with Windows 10 Pro does not have any problem with the graphics.

Musiałem przerwać grę ponieważ nie wczytały się kafelki. Wszystko inne było w porządku natomiast ze względu na brak kafli nie można było grać w ciemno. W innych grach nie zauważyłem tego problemu

for me all my tiles were pixelated and mostly red, incredibly hard to tell what the tiles actually were. also i requested we abandon the game and all agreed but one player and timed me out so that was lovely, thanks for the karma.

I've used both Chrome and Edge and had the same problem - some tiles load with reduced graphics, some load with limited graphics, most are pixelated.
Carcasonne still works fine on my iphone, using safari.

Same thinf happend to me right now.. Table #296652483. For some tiles, zoom helps. What heped ONE TIMES was change tile style (from last to first). Tried deleting browsing data, incl. cookies & images, but it didnt help (same with reloading the page). Game looks exactly like jackthegaot posted.

After sending last message I went to the game again - but first I played my move in Azul. Then I went to Carcassone (with pixelated tiles), had to switch tab in my browser for a while a when I came back, tiles were ok :-O

I treid to repeat the previously written message - after about 4 minutes from opening the game (&switching the tab) the tiles are back. Maybe some problem with loading from server?

F5 did not fix it.
The screen issues happened multiple times and multiple times a day...meaning it worked okay the other day but then last night it started to glitch. I was able to see it this morning but not this afternoon or evening. Went to take the screenshot and it started working again.

Most of the tiles show up as pixel artifacts.
They appear fine only when using maximum zoom (or second to maximum).
This BUG appears to be present in Google Chrome only since more than a year.
It affects all the Chrome versions on Windows and Mac. Mobile version of the browser does NOT show this behavior.
I stopped playing the game on pc/laptop for this reason (when I do I have to use Firefox).

happens often to me in google chrome as well exactly like shown on the screenshot above uploaded by vaiello (imgur.com/a/DaXNPaU)
(for me it helps so zoom in the game field radically, then tiles get visible again)

Carcassonne #499492820, first and only game, Firefox, reloading did not help and just took me through a replay of the entire game.
Tiles were not visible neither on the table nor top right preview. Played tiles were completely blank matching the table background, not pixelated as some others reported. Played blind to not abandon the game.
