On a wide screen the common areas (title, player panels, how to play) don't extend to the sides like they usually do.

Seems as if the width of the screen is fixed and does not adjust to current resolution (as it does in other games).
F5 does not do the magic :-(

There are reports for different issues there. I'll focus on the first reported (board window not extending on large resolution screens); the other are presumable addressed by the bug at boardgamearena.com/bug?id=67632
I would have rated this a feature, rather than a bug: windows uselessly wide and with lots of empty space do not make much sense to me, but as it is seems to be preferred, I have made the board window width unlimited.
So, it should be fixed with the new version. Feel free to reopen the report, with new data, if still unsatisfactory.
