2 times this game I clicked on a card to play, but the system still said that I had to choose a card, i already did! I could only choose another (worse) card to 'solve' this

I tried to click more often on the card I wanted, but nothing happened. Tried F5, nothing happened. Still saying "choose card" but I couldn't click on the card in my hands I wanted anymore
