In addition to automatically taking the only valid move, I think it would be great to have a "pre-move" option. Ever see online chess games? You can preset a move that triggers when your opponent plays.
It would be optional and would help speed up turn-based mode quite a bit during the opening moves when your opponent is halfway across the board.
