This is, at its core, a deck manipulation game. I found myself building an excel spreadsheet to track which cards I had seen this deck cycle. That is absurd.
In person I would just look at my discard pile. I don't care if other players' discard piles are public or private, but it is patently absurd that I am not allowed to look at cards in my own discard pile.
I think that any reasonably advanced player would agree. -
